Making Priscilla from Witcher 3

When I played Witcher 3 and Priscilla first made her appearance singing the gorgeous song Wolven Storm, I just knew I had to cosplay her. At first I didn't exactly know when to make her, but I finally decided on making her for Spillexpo, which focuses on games and gaming and was held in October 2015.

As mentioned in my previous post, I like to do things a little cheaper for Halloween, rather than wear any of my cosplays. That, however, does not mean I don't like to dress up. I love Halloween! And I love to dress up for it.

I kind of have a rule for Halloween. What I dress up as, needs to be in the scary or creepy category. This year I'm gearing up for a bit of that old ultra-violence as I'm doing a female version of the protagonist Alex from A Clockwork Orange.

Cosplays and Halloween

You might think that Halloween is every cosplayer's favourite holiday. You're not completely wrong. I do love Halloween. But I actually like to dress down a little when I go to a Halloween party. There are a few good reasons for this:

Next to being a cosplayer, I'm also a singer. When I was younger I was dead set on becoming a professional singer, but because of reasons I've kept it as a hobby. Every once in a while I perform, but it's mostly minor stuff, and I like it that way. What I also like, is combining my singing with cosplay. Both cosplay and singing are creative outlets to me, and bringing them together is a lot of fun!

It's a blog!

I've created a blog! I've been thinking about it for a little while, and here it is. I've basically decided to make this blog so that I can share my costume and cosplay knowledge with all of you guys. I'm a huge believer in and fan of the "sharing is caring" concept, so I hope I can help bring it forward with this blog.

My plan is to post tutorials, photos, tips & tricks and so on. Maybe also some other stuff, depending on what's happening and what I'm working on. But I will keep it inside the cosplay/costume/design box.
